Salted Caramel (Chicago, Illinois) is an artisan producer of treats that combine sweet with savory. Each is a twist on a classic and presented in vintage circus branding, honoring the fun that friends Ginna & Bridget, co-owners, are having with their young company. Salted Caramel launched in the Fall of 2009 with one product: Bacon Bourbon Caramel Corn and determination. With an anniversary under their belts, the team is proud of their commitment to natural ingredients, highlighting products of other local artisan producers, and to their growing line of treats which now seems to offer “something for everyone.” Salted Caramel is excited to be part of the Foodzie community.

Our Story
Ginna, a professional chef with years of experience spent in both the sweet and savory sides of a professional kitchen, finds great satisfaction when able to combine the two. Bridget, a Big Four public accountant with an entrepreneur's heart, delights in both the day to day and the big picture "to do's" of growing Salted Caramel with friend Ginna. This two woman team is excited to continue to build their line of treats as well as expand into the corporate gifting and wedding markets. Ginna and Bridget diligently work to spread the word about their company at foodie events in and around Chicago. The two look forward to opening their own shop (in the five year plan!) and sincerely thank you for your business!
